With interior headroom of 75", just about everyone can stand up inside. The aft stateroom features both a single and double berth with vanity, sink, and storage locker. The main cabin features a spacious U-shaped lounge with convertible dinette/berth and a full galley starboard with refrigerator, sink, and cooktop. A wet head with sink and shower is to port, opposite the galley. The large cockpit has a dry bar area, raised lounge seating, and a second dinette which also converts to a double berth. The raised aft deck offers space for lounging and terrific visibility.

With a modified v-hull, length of 28' and 11'1" beam, the Carver Riviera is stable at both rest and while underway. Draft is 34", with a bridge clearance of 9'3" - not counting antennae and other accessories affixed thereto.

Twin Crusader 220hp 305ci gas inboards with ~860 hours provide reliable power. Both engines received electronic ignitions, water pumps, thermostats, exhaust manifolds/risers/elbows, and tune-ups in 2017.

Two fuel tanks hold a total of 160 gallons of gas, along with a 52 gallon fresh water tank and 35 gallon waste/holding tank. The hot water heater is 12 gallons.
